Maths at home is a fantastic time to show your child how useful maths can be in everyday life. Use your everyday jobs to incorporate maths. This can be through shopping, taking part in daily chores such as setting the table or sorting the washing and estimating how many things are in different places, but cooking is always the best way to practise measurement skills and you get to eat it afterwards too!
