The Winhills Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plays a vital role in strengthening the partnership between home and school, helping to enrich the educational experience of every child. Through fundraising, events, and volunteering, the PTA supports important projects and creates opportunities for families to be actively involved in school life. By joining, parents and family members can contribute ideas, skills, and enthusiasm that make a real difference to the school community.

The PTA Annual General Meeting was held on Monday 9^th February 2026.

A sincere thank you to everyone who attended and to those who kindly put themselves forward for roles within the PTA. Your support, time and commitment are greatly appreciated and make a real difference to our school community.

While we are very grateful to those who attended, the turnout at this year’s AGM was lower than we had hoped. The PTA plays such an important role in our school, and we would love to see more parents and family members getting involved. Any support — big or small — can make a huge difference. Whether you can volunteer occasionally at events, help behind the scenes, share ideas, or take on a more regular role, your involvement would be truly valued.

Secretary – Kimberly Nicholson

Treasurer – Jennie Holland

We are extremely grateful to all those who have volunteered to take on these roles and to those who continue to support the PTA in any capacity.

The PTA plays a vital role in supporting school initiatives, organising events and fundraising to enhance the children’s learning experiences. We look forward to another successful year working together.

Our next PTA meeting will be held after half term (date to be confirmed), and we warmly encourage anyone interested to come along and find out more about how you can get involved.
