People Who We Work With

At Winhills we have many links with people and organisations who regularly come into school to enhance our curriculum. Here is a brief biography of our friends to tell you a little bit more about them.

Indian Drumming

Satwinder Singh-Suali, along with his wife Devinder Kaur-Suali, are the founders of Preet Kala Sangram. They have been teaching collectively in mainstream schools (Arts, Indian music and dance) for over 20 years in England and abroad.

Preet Kala Sangram is an organisation that prides itself on providing Arts opportunities to help create a passion for the Arts and to ensure the Arts thrive in the hearts of all who experience our work.

Their mission statement is:

To provide Arts opportunities to the wider audience, to help educate and spread the beauty of the Arts, enhancing our goal in achieving harmony and cultural diversity for all to enjoy.

Hunts School Sports Partnership

The Hunts School Sports Partnership (HSSP) is a high quality provider of physical education and school sport. Their aim is to educate the whole child through physical education, providing all children and young people with the opportunity to lead healthy active lifestyles. They provide sports teachers and coaches to work in school and put on competitions across a variety of different sports which the children attend.

St Neots Football Club

As qualified sport professionals St Neots Football Club are dedicated to increasing engagement and learning within school sport by using their knowledge and experience to educate staff and pupils to lead and sustain a healthy and active lifestyle. At Winhills they teach a variety of sports skills, both generic and sport specific.

History Off the Page

History Off the Page aim to arrive at schools with a wealth of knowledge and with the highest quality resources to expertly deliver a full day of engaging, hands-on learning for all abilities, and leave behind amazing and lasting memories. At Winhills they have delivered days based around castles, Anglo-Saxons and the Great Fire of London.

Bikeability

Bikeability is about gaining practical skills and understanding how to cycle safely on today’s roads.

Rexroth

Rexroth is an engineering company which is part of the Bosch group. As part of the local community, they have worked closely with Winhills to deliver STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) sessions to children across the school. This has included school based activities as well as visits to their offices in Eynesbury.

For P.E. and Sport we also work alongside Nick Peck (tennis coach), Cricket East and St Neots Leisure Centre (swimming lessons).

EYFS also work closely with the health visiting team, the speech and language team, Cambridgeshire child and family centre, the SEND service and other outreach workers.
