Summer Term

This term Armstrong class is being led by Mrs Booler, Mr Nelson and Mrs Bailey.

In English, children will be looking at Greek myths, diary writing, newspaper reports and poetry.

In maths, we will cover the four number operations as well as statistics, shape, geometry, decimals and converting units of measure.  Throughout the term, children will also spend time looking at the mastery approach to maths - mainly focusing on multiplication.

In science, our themes are Earth and space, Asteriods (making scientific links) and the human timeline.  During the second half of the term, we will going to Space Centre (linked to our Earth and space work).  More information regarding the educational trip will be provided via letters from the office.
